Nawaz Sharif convened a high level meeting of party leaders on Wednesday in Lahore

PML-N chief Mian Nawaz Sharif convened a high level meeting of party leaders on Wednesday in Lahore to devise a strategy with reference to President Asif Zardari's address to joint session of parliament.
According to sources, the meeting was held to decide whether or not PML-N would participate in the joint session of parliament on the occasion of presidential address. The reaction shown by the government on the short order given by Supreme Court in connection with memogate case would also reviewed at length during the meeting.
Sources said that Mian Nawaz Sharif wanted PML-N to participate in the joint session and record its protest during the address of President Asif Ali Zardari. However, opposition leader in National Assembly Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan and other members did not want PML-N to take part in joint sitting. Due to diverse opinions, Nawaz Sharif would convene a crucial consultative meeting to evolve future strategy.
According to sources, Nawaz Sharif's public meeting in Larkana would also be discussed in the meeting.
