Saudi, Turkish ambassadors alongwith Chief Minister visited homes for floodhit people

MULTAN,April 12th: Punjab Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif alongwith Saudi Embassador in Pakistan Abdul Aziz bin Ibrahim al Ghadeer and ActingTurkish Ambassador Cenkunal,arrived here on Tuesday to handover the keys of 160 homes to flood hit people in Miran Malha village of Muzaffargarh district.He also inaugurated a school, a dispensary, A technical training centre of Tevta,A receretional Park, and Livestock Sheds . The Punjab Chief Minister said that these homes were constructed with the financial assistance of our brethern countries of Saudi Arabia and Turkey.Talking to the destitutes He said that Iam feeling great happiness today when I have fulfilled my commitment and handed over the keys of their homes.He said that People of flood hit areas suffered a lot when their homes, belongings, livestock, grains and standing crops swept away and they had spent chilled nights of winter under open sky.He said that It was our mission to provide them a roof and job to flood affected people.He questioned that if we could provide free of cost medical facilities in hospitals, dialyses, free mobile health units and Danish schools on country’s resources than why we are not able to leave the habit of addiction in form of foreign aid.He said this could not be termed as the Pakistan of Quaid-e-Azam and Allama Muhammad Iqbal as the poor even toady are deprived of basic facilities of life including health, education and other facilities.He said that the high class of the society is enjoying all the luxuries of life, adding that the elite class has made the country a beggar.He said that if we would have to achieve the dream f Quaid and Iqbal we would have to ensure transparent distribution of country’s resources among the poor and rich.He said that the standard of the Danish schools would be better than Aitchison and Grammar schools, adding that only children of poor people would be admitted in these schools and admission of children of rich people would be restricted in these schools.He appreciated the performance, efficiency and work of Chief Secretary Punjab Nasir Mehmood Khosa,DCO Muzaffargarh Tahir Khurshid,DO(social Welfare Ch.Muhammad Saleem,XEN (Agricultural Engineering) SAlman Goraya and an NGO "Custom Health Care which had constructed 250 homes in Nowshera (KP) and 125 in Muzaffargarh district.Chief Minister gave 12 golkd medals to those who took interest in the early rehabilitation of the flood affectees.Dr.Khalid Mehmood Zaffar Chaudhry presented a book of Dr.Asif Jah" Doobtay Shehr"on the miseries of flood affectees and he also visited the stall of Custom Health care at site.Chief Minister was accompanied by Punjab Minister for agriculture Ch.Ahmed Ali Aulkh,Ahsan Iqbal, Pervaiz Rasheed, Bilal Butt, Shaikh Tariq Rasheed. Talking to newsmen Punjab Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif said that United States should stop drone(Predators) attacks on the innocent people because these attacks had added to the miseries of the people.He said that the very next day of the US citizen Raymond Davis, who had killed two Pakistanis in Lahore, a US drone attack killed over 52 tribal elders who were gathered for a tribal Jirga in North Waziristan Agency. Criticising the former President Pervez Musharraf ,Chief Minister said that he made the whole country hostage at the hands of terrorists and sold out the Patriotic Pakistanis at the hands of Americans.He said that Pervez Musharraf had harmed the country's sovereignty,integrity, solidarity and independence and he promoted the terrorism.He vowed to end the poverty, starvation by expanding the technical education in remote areas of the province.To a question He said that Mian Nawaz Sharif was improving rapidly and he would come back to home very soon.He said that revolution in Pakistan wasd inevitable and it cannot be stopped.Chief Minister said that he had Rs.1.5 billion in his personal account which were donated by the people for the ailing humanity.
