Ten people killed in drone attack in South Waziristan

At least Ten people were killed and four others injured as U.S. drones fired four missiles at a suspected militant hideout in South Waziristan on Wednesday morning, a private TV reported.
The report quoted unidentified sources as saying that the strike came at about 10 a.m. local time and the target was a house suspected of being a hideout of militants in a hilly area of Jandola, a place sitting far deep in South Waziristan on its eastern side bordering inner Pakistan. Identities of the killed are not known immediately.
On Tuesday morning, the U.S. drones launched a strike in the neighbouring tribal area of North Waziristan, which killed seven suspected militants.
Wednesday's strike is the third of its kind in Pakistan since this month and the 62nd of its kind in 2011. A total of 526 people, most of whom are believed to be suspected militants, have reportedly been killed in such strikes so far this year.
