A lieutenant and captain and 35 militants were killed, while 12 security forces personnel were injured.

 At least 35 militants were killed in different areas of the Kurrum Agency, Express News 24/7 reported. Two security personnel were also martyred in clashes with militants. According to sources, security forces conducted shelling on militants hideouts. As a result five hideouts were destroyed. A lieutenant and captain were among those who were  killed, while 12 security forces personnel were injured.
At least 35 terrorists were killed and 25 others injured in security forces operation conducted overnight in Kurram Agency, media reported on Monday.
Media quoted security forces sources said that the suspected hideouts of terrorists were pounded in Central Kurram. Over dozen terrorists were injured in the action and five terror havens were destroyed in the early morning offensive.
