US drone fired six missiles killing 6 people in North Waziristan

A U.S. pilotless aircraft fired six missiles on a house and a vehicle in Land Muhammed area of Dattakhel in North Waziristan on Sunday, killing at least 6 people, a private TV reported.
According to the report, the U.S. pilotless aircraft struck a house and a vehicle at Datta Khel area, just few km from Miranshah, the center of North Waziristan. Four people died instantly while two others succumbed to injuries later. People of the area reached the scene of incident immediately to offer whatever help they could provide. Drones kept flying over Dattakhel for many hours causing panic to the people of the area.
On the other hand intelligence officials said, Suspected U.S. unmanned aircraft fired six missiles at a vehicle in Pakistan's tribal region near the Afghan border Sunday, killing six alleged militants.
The high number of missiles used in the attack in the Datta Khel area of North Waziristan seemed to indicate an important militant was targeted. But the identities of those killed were as yet unknown, said the officials, speaking on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to talk to the media. A house was also partly destroyed in Sunday's attack, said the intelligence officials. It was unclear whether any of the six suspected militants who were killed were in the house at the time, or all in the vehicle.
Residents in Miranshah said that a U.S. unmanned aircraft had been flying over the area since Sunday morning and launched the strike at around 11:45 a.m. local time.
It was the third U.S. attack in Waziristan region within four days. At least ten people, including two Taliban commanders, were killed in both strikes in South and North Waziristan on Thursday.
