PML-N have taken out a rally and are now staging a sit-in outside the Presidency

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) members of parliament, supported by opposition parties, have taken out a rally and are now staging a sit-in outside the Presidency in Islamabad.
Earlier, the PML-N had walked out of the National Assembly after a heated exchange between opposition and treasury members.
PPP leader Fauzia Wahab exchanged harsh words with PML-N leader Abid Sher Ali. PPP members also criticised the Government of Punjab for their failure to control dengue.
Around 150-200 workers of PML-N made their way from parliament to the presidency and staged a sit-in there.
Members of Jamiat Ulema Islam – Fazl (JUI-F), Pakistan Muslim League – Quaid (PML-Q) Like-minded group and Pakistan Peoples Party – Sherpao (PPP-S) are also supporting the PML-N.
The party had walked out from the National Assembly during Wednesday’s session and then later announced that it planned to take its protest to the next level.
“The PML-N will stage a sit-in outside the Presidency against the government’s failure to address the power crisis,” opposition leader in the National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan had said.
While revealing the proposed plan, he said, “We will hold a peaceful walk from the Parliament House to the Presidency as well.”
