Addressing a big "Go America Go Rally" in Clock Tower chowk here on Sunday evening on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of 9/11 incident, he said that 9/11 was actually a drama, which was carried out to occupy the natural resources of Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq and other Arab countries in the name of war against terrorism. He expressed grave concerns over, what he said, the dirty game of the MQM and other parties, which were creating unrest in the country and fully responsible for bloodshed in Karachi. Muhammad Azeem Randhawa, District Amir JI, Sardar Zafar Abbas Advocate, Ghulam Abbas Khan and other leaders also addressed the rally.Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General Liaquat Baloch has said proofs of the contacts of Muttahida Qaumi Movement with India are available and urged the government and establishment to give up supporting MQM and then the Karachi people would bring them on track.
Addressing a press conference here on Sunday, he said India wanted Pakistan to give up its stance on Kashmir issue permanently and announced that protest demonstrations would be arranged on December 14, 15 and 16 against what it called US and Indian involvement and cowardice of rulers.According to him, the Intelligence Bureau has presented proofs of MQM secret contacts with India besides Indian involvement in Karachi and now it’s up to the government to take action against a party involved in anti-Pakistan activities.“If the government and establishment withdraw support to MQM, then the people of Karachi would bring them on track”, he pointed out.Baloch said US has nefarious designs in the region regarding Pakistan and wanted to prove Pakistan a failed state in the world, while India through US support wanted Pakistan give up its stance on Kashmir permanently.
Regarding Balochistan issue, he said the people of Balochistan could not be deceived through a constitutional package but for their happiness, it is necessary to bring the killers of Akbar Bugti to book and allow the exiled Baloch leaders to return to country and stop Indian involvement in Balochistan.Military operation is not permanent solution to any issue and resolve the issue through dialogue by calling back the army from tribal areas, he said, adding, groups carrying out terror attacks for India are also involved in the killings of innocent people.
He accused the government of insulting 170 million Pakistanis by begging dialogue with India in the name of trust instead of protest on its involvement in India.Baloch said his party would not support any unconstitutional move to change the government nor the country could afford any military interference.He announced that JI would arrange protest demonstrations throughout the country on December 14, 15 and 16 against the Indian involvement and inefficiency of rulers and on that day, meetings of political parties would be summoned, while memorandums would be presented to foreign embassies in Pakistan to apprise them about its stance.
