Sindh Govt lifted ban on pillion riding in Karachi

 Sindh Home Minister, Manzoor Wasan has announced lifting of the ban on motorcycle pillion riding in the city here, Geo News reported.

Provincial home minister presided over a meeting that reviewed the law and order situation in Karachi, which was attended by the Sindh Additional Chief Secretary, Wasim Ahmad, Advisor home affairs, Sharfuddin Memon, Sindh IGP, Wajid Ali Durrani and other senior officers.

The home minister underlined the need of making sure of all possible options under an effective strategy for maintaining law and order and routing crimes.

The home minister said that the relevant SHOs would be held responsible for increase in crimes and actions would be taken against them.

The meeting also decided to lift the ban on motorcycle pillion riding.
