The Senior Civil Judge Islamabad on Monday sent PML-N MNA Anjum Aqeel to jail on 14 days judicial remand.
After expiry of previous physical remand of accused Anjum Aqeel, FIA produced him before the civil judge court and medical report of him was also presented.
The FIA sought another seven days physical remand of the accused while Defence Counsel sought discharge of the case against his client.
The Defence Counsel informed the court that the entire due amount of National Police Foundation has been paid and his client has reached an understanding with the complainant in the plot fraud case. He also presented a written agreement before the court in this connection. He pleaded that Anjum Aqeel was a heart patient and be kept in the hospital.
At this FIA lawyer submitted that the doctors have not advised for keeping the accused in the hospital and that his physical remand be given for further interrogation.
After hearing the arguments of lawyers from both sides, the court ordered that the complainant Shabahat Ali in the plot fraud case should appear in the court.
The court also rejected the please of the two sides and sent Anjum Aqeel to jail on 14 days judicial remand.
