Pakistan cricket trio will be tried in London in spot fixing scam

The Crown Court in London heard the corruption case against three Pakistani players involved in spot fixing scam on Tuesday, Express News reported.According to the details, Justice Cook conducted the hearing. The judge on Wednesday would decide if the proceedings of the case would continue or not.

Mohammed Aamir and Mohammed Asif along with their lawyers attended the hearing. Salman Butt’s lawyer is representing him while he was absent. Mazhar Majeed was also present in the court.

During proceedings, lawyers of the players stated that the case against them should be dismissed.

The arguments of lawyers would continue tomorrow after which court will rule if the case would be dismissed or not.
