PNS Babar to rescue MV Suez crew-orders the Naval chief

Naval Chief Admiral Nauman Bashir Sunday directed PNS Babar to transfer the crew of MV Suez on frigate to rescue them.
According media reports, Adm. Nauman Bashir said that MV Suez be transferred on PNS Babar on humanitarian grounds.
It says that the crew members would later transfer to another ship which would brought them to Pakistan, however it was not decided yet whether these crew members including Indian would bring to Karachi or to Gawadar.
The PNS Babar Pak Navy frigate was being escorted the Egyptian ship with 22 crew members including 4 Pakistani and 6 India sailors onboard who were recently released by Somali pirates.
The merchant vessel being faced trouble after trouble, which now feared to be sink due to stormy weather in Arabian Sea with empty fuel.
The ship needs refueling which was not possible in the mid-sea due to bad weather conditions.
Meanwhile the tug boat sent for towing Egyptian vessel MV Suez to the Salalah port of Oman, has also broken down, proving it true that the misfortune never comes alone.
Renowned social worker Ansaar Burney had appealed to Admiral Nauman Bashir to help rescue recently freed 22 hostages from The clutches of Somali sea pirates.
Talking to a Private TV channel, he had informed that lack of fuel on the recently liberated Ship “MV Suez”, had stalled the ship at mid-sea, and the ship awaited tug boats for rescue of those on-board; or even help lug the ship to Port of Salalah.
He said that a notice had been sent to the unpredictable and un-trustworthy owner of the non-functional ship, warning him of ship’s sinking if care was not taken in time.
