French actress Marion Cotillard will star in the new movie "Low Life" by American director James Gray. "Deadline.com" reports the "Inception" star officially signed on to star in the movie, and could not resist an offer to work with Gray, director of "The Yards" and "Little Odessa".The actress will play a Polish immigrant in the pursuit of her dreams in the United States, but quickly finds that her life takes a horrible turn for the worse.Cotillard's character is forced into prostitution to make ends meet and to take care of her gravely ill sister.The cast of this movie also includes American actors Jeremy Renner and Joaquin Phoenix, and it is anticipated to hit theaters in 2012.Cotillard is reportedly preparing to take part in the movie "Batman: The Dark Knight Rises", where she plays the character of Miranda Tate, a board member of Wayne Enterprises owned by Bruce Wayne.
