A teenager of Gadai (D.G.Khan) was mastermind of attack on Sri-Lankan team

MULTAN,May 17th:Dera Ghazi Khan Police have arrested Adnan Arshad Khosa alias Chhoto alias Sher Muhammad whose head money was of Rs.1.5 million and who was a master mind of attack on Sri-Lankan team on March 03,2009.He had also planned to loot a bank branch of MCB in Taunsa Sharif with the abetment of Lashkar-i-Jhangvi, claimed DPO D.G.Khan Tasadduq Hayat Awan while addressing a press conference in his office.He told that Five security men had been killed and two injured when unknown persons attacked Sri Lankan cricket team in Lahore.Several Sri Lankan players reportedly sustained injuries in the incident.After this attack Adnan Arshad left for Miran-Shah (South Waziristan).where he stayed with Saif-ullah.He was with Zubair alias Nek Muhammad when they attacked the  Sri-Lankan team.DPO said that Adnan Arshad Khosa invited the activists of Lashkar-i-Jhangvi and provided them motor cycles and weapons including klashinkov and hand grenades for Bank dacoity.Three citizens and a terrorist had died and nine other injured on Saturday (May 14,2011) when a terrorist used a hand grenade to get himself freed from the clutches of the citizens who caught hold him in Taunsa Sharif some 170 km west of Multan.DPO said that he had confessed that he was mastermind of attack on Sri-Lankan team. DPO told newsmen that Adnan Arshad Khosa of village Gadai- Shomali had planned with the collaboration of Commander Saif-ullah to improve the financial position of LeJ (Amjad Farooq Group) Then they finalised the plot of bank dacoity.His identification parade was held in District Jail Dera Ghazi Khan where Zubair alias Nek Muhammad and others recognised him.DPO said that he was arrested by a team of Taunsa Police comprising DSP Taunsa Amjad Javed Dogar, Incharge CIA Inspector Muhammad Iqbal Chandia, Mujahid Hussain , Arshad Hussain SHO, Muhammad Shahbaz, Abdul Ghafoor, Abdul Hameed, Muhammad Tariq  Constables.
Arshad Khosa's father Qari Muhammad Arshad incharge of a religious Seminary in villaghe Kamlani(Choti) said that he would defend the case of his son. He was studying in Madarsah Farooq-i-Azam Shah Sadardin then he sneaked away from the seminary alongwith Zubair alias Nek Muhammad in 2008 when he was 14 year old.When Zubair arrested by the police then it came to his knowledge that his son was also involved in the attack on Sri-Lankan team.Later he contacted to him and other relatives twice on phone. When I asked him to come back.He said," It is not possible," He can't come back.He did not even join the funeral rites of his grand parents.Arshad is eldest among five brothers.
