Inayat Hussain Bhatti was born on January 12, 1928 in Gujrat. He was a multi-talented distinguished singer, actor, director author, social leader, columnists, religious scholar and Zakir. He was interested in Sufi poetry since he was a child.He started his singing career in theaters in 60’s; he has sung poetry of Shah Abdul Latif Bhitahi, Waris Shah, Bullay Shah, Khuwaja Ghulam Farid, Mian Muhammad Bakhsh and Sultan Bahu.
He acted in hundreds of films, his famous movies include Kartar Singh, Waris Shah, Duniya Matlab Di, Ishaq Dewaana, Shehri Babu and Chan Makhna. He died at the age of 71 on May 31, 1999.
