The Federal Investigation Agency has declared Pakistan Muslim League (Q) leader and Former Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi's son Moonis Elahi as accused in National Insurance Corporation Limited (NICL) scam.
Moonis Elahi was presented before Special Banking Crime Court, amid tight security. The FIA counsel also presented a challan against Moonis Elahi for his involvement in NICL case.
FIA in a challan to Judge Special Banking Crime Court Mian Abdul Rasheed claimed that Moonis Elahi for corruption of amount opened bogus accounts in the name of manager Abdul Malik and his wife in UK and Pakistan, a Private TV Channel reported.
The FIA counsel said that it was discovered that the amount was later transferred to accounts Moonis’ account. The court judge informed that the record of transactions have also been taken into custody.
The TV Channel also said that the Former Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervez Elahi’s son Moonis Elahi would be indicted in next hearing scheduled to be held on April 19.
