Police Wednesday arrested a person for killing her mother for the sake of love marriage.
According to details the accused Adnan 22, wanted to have love marriage with a girl residing in his neighbourhood but was opposed by his mother.
The friends of the accused suggested to sell his house to meet the marriage expenses. Adnan, accompanied by his two friends on Tuesday strangulated his mother and later hanged her with roof pretending it to be a suicide case.
However, father of the accused filed a case against him and police arrested him. During interrogation Adnan confessed the crime after which he was sent to jail. The police also registered a case against the friends of the murderer for assistance in the crime and started their search for arrest.
