According to witnesses, a paramilitary troops' vehicle was targeted in the attack. The bomb was attached to a motorcycle and was exploded when the vehicle was passing through, which resulted in injuries to seven people.
Security forces and rescue team rushed to the scene soon after the blast occurred. The wounded were shifted to a nearby hospital, while the forces cordoned off the area for search operation.
