PML-N has ever betrayed other political parties, Grand alliance is a farce

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has expressed his doubt in political move towards grand alliance, however, supports removal of what he termed corrupt government.
Addressing a news conference at the party’s central secretariat, he said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leadership had betrayed PTI and several other political parties by convincing them over boycott from elections but then all of a sudden Sharif brethren decided to take part in the same elections.
He added that the PTI had so far received no formal invitation to participate in any national conference, adding that the PML-N would have to clarify serious doubts about its grand alliance initiative in view of its past track record.
“PTI demanded the mid-term elections three months ago but the same PML-N was throwing its weight behind the government under the guise of saving the system and blaming of PTI of having links with the agencies.
“The nation demands to know what has changed over the last three months and the real motives of the PML (N)’s somersault by seeking a grand alliance against the government,” he added.
He said that the PTI would intensify ‘its remove the government campaign’ and expects the Supreme Court to take decisive action to remove the present destructive government and install a truly neutral care taker set up.
“Only a neutral caretaker set up with the blessings of the Supreme Court can hold free and fair elections under an independent election commission and transparent NADRA based electoral rolls,’ he added.
