The APML secretary general said taking power away from the local governments and empowering the bureaucracy through the revival of the obsolete system was patently dictatorial and autocratic.
He also emphasised that APML chief Perevz Musharraf reinstated the local governments’ system during his regime by making the bureaucracy accountable to elected representatives of the masses at all levels.
