A PML (like minded) delegation led by Senator Salim Saifullah met Nawaz Sharif in the Punjab House Islamabad on Tuesday while Senator Haroon Akhtar Khan, Ghaffar Qureshi, Gulshan Saeed, Raja Zafar ul Haq, Pervez Rashid and Khawaja Asif were also present in the meeting who exchanged views on unification of all the factions of PML.
Talking to journalists after the meeting, Senator Haroon Akhtar said the headway had been made on the matter of unification of all the factions of PML following the meeting with Nawaz Sharif.
Sources said that PML (like minded) had proposed that Nawaz sould accept the chairmanship of the united Muslim League.
Nawaz Sharif said he could pardon those who had left PML-N in hard times but could not forgive Chaudhry brothers.
