New visas for CIA officers to be issued by Pakistan

The US and Pakistani officials have expressed that Pakistan vowed to issue more than three dozen visas to CIA officers as part of confidence-building measures after the American raid that killed Osama bin Laden, a private TV channel claimed the other day.
It further stated the officials said the visas were part of an agreement to rebuild counterterrorism efforts by forming what Pakistani officials call a joint intelligence team.
According to the media reports, the agreement was reached after recent talks in Islamabad between senior US and Pakistani intelligence officials.
The US official said the visas would help replenish CIA staff after some were forced to leave.
