A Pakistani anti-Taliban leader has been killed in a massive bomb explosion, which ripped through a remote tribal region near the border with Afghanistan. Tribal elder Malik Manasib Khan was killed in an incident that took place in Salarzai region, 65 kilometers northeast of Khar, the main town of Bajaur tribal district in the northwest of the country, on Saturday, a foreign news agency reported. Five people were also injured in the assault. The wounded were taken to hospital and are said to be in a stable condition. "A bomber blew himself up before the vehicle of Malik Manasib Khan killing him and four others including a paramilitary soldier and wounding five others," tribal police official Javed Khan said.
