MULTAN,April 16th:Makhdoom Javed Hashmi ,MNA and a leader of Pakistan Muslim League-N has said that looters, plunderers and corrupt elements would be hanged publicly and looted wealth would be brought back to Pakistan to make it strong and prosperous.Delivering his speech at big public meeting in Samorana, a suburb of Multan today, He said that country was facing manifold crises but rulers were making the world records of corruption. He said that present regime failed to redress the grievances of provinces and nationalities.Consequently there was a severe threat to country's integrity ,stability and prosperity. He warned that there would be a big bloodshed in Balochistan and streets would bve full of blood like rain water if we failed to satisfy the Balochs.Hashmi said that United States, Israel and India were plotting to dismember the country but our politicians as well as rulers had shut their eyes like a pigeon. Javed Hashmi said that he would address in the next session of National Assembly and he would give a feasible formula for division of Punjab and other provinces to create smaller provinces.Hashmi said that there would have been no dismemberment of Pakistan in 1971 Had the East Pakistan divided into at least three provinces. He said that Bureaucracy had made the system unchangeable since the creation of Pakistan and People who raised voice for their lawful demands were it branded as traitors.Javed Hashmi said that Pakistan could attain prosperity on condition that its leaders became poor.He said he would soon present in National Assembly (NA) a formula to save Pakistan. He advised political parties to stop opposing public demands for new provinces.Criticising the former Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Makhdoom Javed Hashmi said that Raymond Davis drama was played by him but it flopped and Qureshi failed to attain the ministry. He alleged that Qureshi's forefathers betrayed the Muslims of sub-continent in the 1857 freedom movement.Consequently 2500 Muslims were martyred in Multan only. Then British rulers allotted hundreds acres of land to Qureshis to stay loyal British Government. Hashmi warned against an imminent spillover in Pakistan of rising public anger in Afro-Arab states, if the political leadership failed to control the economic mess.“Nobody should be under the illusion that democracy can save us. It won’t,” the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz member said in a speech that was followed by desk thumping by fellow lawmakers. The firebrand leader, who spent over four years in jail during former president Pervez Musharraf’s era, was speaking to the house from the first time after recovering from a brain haemorrhage. His message for all fellow political leaders was loud and clear: “Don’t try to consume the nation for your interests…learn how to get consumed for them.”Hashmi appeared to be sensitising the government against what he saw a high likely probability of Egyptian and Tunisian’s quest for a regime change attracting Pakistanis to the streets. He asked parliamentarians to resist their party’s leaderships’ decision if they are not in line with the national interest of the country.Hashmi said lessons should be learnt from the events that are unfolding in Egypt. He added that Pakistan’s economic condition was even worse than Egypt’s and in the present situation it is not advisable to turn a blind eye to it. “It would be wrong to view the case of dissolution of the Egyptian parliament in isolation, because regimes across the world are no longer safe,” he said.
