According to Gondal Police personnel, local farmer Niaz Khan spotted corpses in a dead well located near China Chowk, Haji Shah Road of Attock Khurd.
District Police Officer (DPO) Dr Akhtar Abbas along with Sub Inspector Muhammad Riaz and heavy contingent of police reached the spot and pulled out the bodies from the well with the assistance of locals and rescue personnel and shifted them to hospital where they were yet to be identified.
The police said that the deceased were shot dead after torture and later their bodies were dumped in the well. Four days old eight dead bodies have been recovered from a dry well in China Chowk area of Attock, Geo News reported Sunday.DPO Attock told media that the bodies were four days old and they may have been killed due to personal enmity. Bodies have been shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital for postmortem.
