38 devotees killed, 100 injured in two bomb blasts in Sakhi Sarwar

MULTAN,April 3rd:At least 38 devotees were killed and more than 100 people injured in three blasts near Sakhi Sarwar Shrine, Police said on Sunday.According to monitoring incharge Rescue 1122 Punjab Muhammad Ahsan, the blasts occurred near the main gate of Shrine blast as a result 38 devotees were killed and more than 100 injured. Rescue teams have rushed towards the shrine after blast. Around 60 injured have been shifted to near district hospital of Dera Ghazi Khan. The condition of several injured is said to be critical.who were shifted to Nishtar Hospital Multan.The blasts are said to be suicide attacks.Police have apprehended an alleged suicide bomber identified as Fida Hussain of Dera Ghazi Khan .His suicide jacket has been defused while he has been shifted to undisclosed location for investigation.A bomb exploded outside a shrine in the central Pakistani province of Punjab on Sunday, killing up to 38 devotees, the local administration chief said.The device went off outside the shrine of Ahmed Sultan popularly known as Sakhi Sarwar in Dera Ghazi Khan district, local administration chief Iftikhar Sahu said.Regional Police Officer Ahmed Mubarak said that casualties are between 25 and 30 while injured persons are more than 100. Emergency has been declared in the hospitals of Multan, Muzaffargarh, Dera Ghazi Khan hospitals. the young Doctors have announced to call off their 34 days long strike on humanitarian ground..They have immerdiately joined the duty.Ahmed Mubarak said that these were suicidal attacks ,one occurred at BMP camp and other at the checking gate of the shrine.However we have arrested two would-be suicide bombers and defused their jackets,he claimed
