Shah Mehmood Qureshi ready to quit PPP

MULTAN,March 25th: Former Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi has announced that he would quit the party in prestigious manners if PPP no longer required him. "I would narrate my principled stance before the central committee of the party in Larkana if I was invited to take part in the meeting. There would have been different situation Had I sit in Punjab Assembly.Addressing a public meeting in his constituency on Friday evening, Shah Mehmood Qureshi asked why the ruckus was erupted in provincial assembly session again and again when the PPP had opted the policy of reconciliation. He said that Government business cannot be run through that way.We had lost a part of country (East Pakistan) in past by running the state on adhocism.Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that stuation in Balochistan was so dangerous and the people were challenging the Government's writ by killing the higher officials, educationists. but rulers had shut their eyes like peigeon.He said that People of South Punjab want liberation from the clutches of the Lahori rulers and they want their separate province.He told that audience that Government had proposed more taxes of Rs.53 billion last week and it had decided to increase the power tariff by 2 percent every month. while POL products price was being increased by Rs.8 to 9 per litre from April Ist.He said that Government should take the nation into confidence on the issue of Raymond Davis because he stated that neither he not US government had paid the compensation
