MULTAN,March 20th: More than 1000 baton wielded workers of Sunni action committee, Jamaat Ahle-Sunnat Pakistan, Anjuman Tajiran,Anjuman Naujawanan-i-Islam, Nizam-i-Mustafa Party, Markazi Jamiat Ulema-i-Pakistan, Minhaj-ul-Quran, Anjuman Milad Council, Jamiat Mashaikh Ahle-Sunnat staged a demonstration at Bahawalpur chowk ,Multan where some transporter shot fire in the air when they blocked the roads. One of the bullet hit Muhammad Siddique of Ahmedpur east.Upon this hundreds of workers entered the office of transporters and they gave severe beating to Rana Imran and his accomplices . In this clash, five persons from demonstrator including Allama Faiz Bakhsh Rizvi and three from attackers injured.The demonstrators also manhandled the policemen including a DSP Masud Gujjar.The demo was led by Hamid Saeed Kazmi's younger brothers Sahibzada Sajjad Saeed Kazmi, Syed Tahir Saeed Kazmi. While other religious scholars Sahibzada Masood-ul-Hassan Saeedi, Khawaja Nasir Rehman, Sahibzada Saeed Ahmed Farooqi, Allama Muhammad Sadiq Serani, Ch.Azhar Jamil, Mian Umar Hayat ,Syed Ali Abid Shah, Sahibzada Ahmed Saleem Qureshi, Allama Syed Muhammad Ramzan Shah Faizi, Allama Qari Faiz Bakhsh Rizvi, Qari Abdul Ghaffar Naqshbandi, Haji Saeed Ahmed Ansari and Waseem Mumtaz Advocate.Addressing the demo they alleged that Hajj scandal was framed only to implicate Hamid Saeed Kazmi to defame this family under a well planned conspiracyThe speakers alleged that real culprits were not arrested and they are enjoying life under the umbrellah of the rulers.They demanded immediate release of former federal minister.They said,"we are ready to face the attackers and our chests are open to receive the bullets.A violent group of activists of Sunni Tehrik on Sunday attacked a DSP of Mumtazabad Masood Ahmed Gujjar and injured him and they also broke the wind screens and window panes of two vehicle at Bahawalpur Bypass in Multan when some unidentified persons shot fires in the air from a nearby home when more than 100 activists were staging a demonstration to condemn the arrest of former federal minister for religious affairs Hamid Saeed Kazmi.The protest against Kazmi's arrest continued since his arrest in Multan city.Muhammad Waseem Mumtaz advocate a leader of JUP said ,"we were protesting peacefully to condemn the arrest of Hamid Saeed Kazmi, all of suddent some fires were shot in the air from the neighbouring home to terrify them. Then they approached to Police station for lodging a complaint but Police refused to entertain their complaint,Instead they pushed them back. Upon this some workers infuriated and they manhandled the DSP on duty.
